Meet the members of the Gallions Board.

David Avery
David was Chairman of the Board of Saxon Weald Homes Ltd from 2009 to 2014. He served as a member of the Saxon Weald Board from 2004.

He is also a founding investor and advisor to SDCmaterials Inc, a technology startup company based in Phoenix, USA.

Previously David has held a variety of executive and management roles in Silicon Valley-based technology companies. Most recently he was President of European Operations for Novellus Systems Inc, a Fortune 500 company. David has also been a governor of an independent school in West Sussex and a NED of an NHS Trust.

Paul Hackett
Paul was appointed as Chief Executive at Amicus Horizon in December 2012. Before joining AmicusHorizon, he worked at Moat as Executive Director, Development and New Business.

Before joining Moat, Paul spent eight-and-a-half years at the London and Quadrant Group. Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Susan Hickey
Executive Director Finance
Susan joined Peabody in February 2010 from Hastoe Housing Group, where she was Director of Resources, with responsibility for finance, IT, HR and other central functions.

A qualified chartered accountant, Susan has a broad range of experience in accountancy and commerce, particularly in banking and mortgage finance markets.

David Joined Peabody in March 2007 from Barclays Bank, where he held several senior posts, including Small Business Banking Director and Chief Operating Officer for the marketing and communications functions worldwide.

David has extensive experience in strategic change management and organisational development.

Malcolm Levi
Malcolm Levi has been Chief Executive of three housing associations: PCHA (now Genesis), Warden and, for the 10 years to 2008 until his retirement, Home Group.

In 2001 he was made a distinguished member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Malcolm is now an adviser to Savills' Housing Investment Consultancy; an adviser to Coactavia, a specialist software consultancy; a member of the HCA regulation committee adviser panel; and a board member at Richmond Housing Partnership.

In May 2009 Malcolm was appointed a Peabody Board Member. He also undertakes mentoring, small consultancy projects and occasionally facilitates Board awaydays.
